Winter Training Sessions:

Club members are reminded that throwing sessions with Phil Thomas and George Mullineux (hammer, discus, shot and javelin) take place at 9.30.am. on Sunday mornings at Sutton Sports Centre - subject to the availability of the field. This supplements the Tuesday and Thursday night sessions.

On Sundays, Dave Morley and John Naylor take sprinters and jumpers on Sherdley Park at 9.30, Ray Vose is out with the middle distance runners while John Irwin takes young athlete middle distance competitors on Sundays when the club is not involved in competitions at 10.am.

Saturday 29 October:

Female cross country athletes will be competing in the North West Women's League at Heaton Park. Manchester (St Margaret's entrance) - first race 12 noon. Younger male athletes are at the same venue    for the Manchester and District League - first race 12.15 p.m. Transport leaves the club at 10 a.m. for early competitors. The senior men will be at the Liverpool & District League match, details from Ian Hayburn.
