Annual General Meeting : Bull & Dog : Monday 5 September.

The club AGM will be held at the Bull & Dog at 7.30.p.m.on Monday 5 September. Any member wishing to serve on the Committee should contact the Secretary as soon as possible. The meeting will include presentations for the various internal club competitions. Winners are listed on the club noticeboard. There will be four awards, as yet unannounced, made on the night. Propositions and voting is restricted to those who are full members of the club but any club member is entitled to attend. The AGM is primarily a business meeting.

John Orrell Memorial Mile

The John Orrell Memorial Mile will be held at 7.30.p.m. on Thursday 1 September at 7.30.p.m. The event is open to all athletes over the age of 17 (male and female). In the absence of Ian White the handicapping will be done by Ray Vose. The date for the Tom Fillingham Memorial 5000 and the Ken Crouch Memorial 3000 will be advised as soon as possible.

Exam Success:

Lucy Mitchell, Emma McClatchey, Nicola Quinn, Richard Atherton and Steve Moran have all passed their A levels and will be going to the colleges of their choice, Nicola has also passed her driving test. Congratulations to them all. Other exam success will gladly be reported.

Ben Fisher (Javelin); David Forrester (1500); David Hill (1500); Mike Ehlen (triple and high jump); Josie Barrow (high jump); Rebecca Keegan (javelin and shot).
 
The following are non-travelling reserves who may be called up if the original choice cannot go:-
 
Caroline Morley (400H); Lucy Mitchell (triple jump); Jourdan Cotter (800/1500); Rachael Hutchinson (shot & discus).
