Welcome:
The club is delighted to welcome Liz Devine back to our coaching staff. Liz
is a Level 2 coach (sprints) and will shortly be taking the new Working with
Children coaching module, alongside some of our existing coaches.
National Young Athletes League 2004.
The AGM for the League will take place in Loughborough on 22 November. As
things stand we will be in division one with the likely opposition coming
from Blackburn, Holmfirth, Trafford, West Cheshire, Warrington, Leigh,
Deeside, Oswestry, Hyndburn, Burnley, Halifax, Dearnside, SouthportWaterloo,
Stockport and Spenborough.
It's not yet been determined whether there will be four or five matches but
the club has decided it will stage a home meeting at Warrington, if Victoria
Park is available on one of the preferred dates.
Officials' Upgrading:
Forms have been submitted for the upgrading of Joe Ehlen and John Irwin to
Level 3 Field and for Frank Atkinson to Level 4 Field. Janet Holmes and Pam
Appleton have submitted their level 4 timekeeping forms.
Denis Fulton and George Mullineux will be submitting forms for Level 4 Field
grade within the next few weeks.
