New Minimum Starting Age:

With effect from 1st August the minimum age at which the club will accept children for training will be eight years.Children below that age who are already training at the club will be allowed to stay provided their parents, or a responsible adult, remains on site for the duration of the training session. This decision has been taken on the advice of the club coaches involved with training the primary group and in light of the government's childminding regulations. Although the Committee is aware that some enthusiastic under eights will be disappointed they consider it to be in the long term interests of the children and the club to adopt the new policy without exception.

Just For the Record.

The setting of four new club records last weekend means that 85 new club marks have been established since the start of the 2003 track season in March. We have another two club matches and five open meetings to make that a round 100.
